Every printer equipped with a network interface card has a Media Access Control address. A unique MAC address identifies every device attached to a network. When you need to filter MAC addresses on your router or identify individual networked appliances on your LAN, printers can be more problematic than personal computers. Start at the Finder. Click on the Go menu.
From the Go menu, locate and click on Computer.
This brings up the finder showing your Macintosh HD. This is your main hard drive. Click the triangle to reveal and contents of the HD.
